Computational intelligence (CI) is a set of nature-inspired computational methodologies and approaches to address complex real-world problems, to which mathematical or traditional modeling is not useful. The workshop would focus on the theory, design, application, and development of computational paradigms emphasizing neural networks, genetic algorithms, fuzzy systems, evolutionary programming, and hybrid intelligent systems.
The IWCIA'16 features three-day international workshop which includes sessions by experts to promote different aspects of CI. The workshop co-locates renowned researchers, academicians and industry professionals at one single location, providing a unique opportunity to encourage collaborations and innovations in all areas of CI.
South Asian University (SAU) is an international university established by the eight member nations of South Asian Association for Regional Co-operation (SAARC) viz. Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Maldives, Nepal, Pakistan and Sri Lanka.
SAU started its operations from the academic year 2010. The university now offers post-graduate and doctoral programmes in various disciplines that include Development Economics, Computer Science, Biotechnology, Mathematics, Sociology, International Relations and Law. It will ultimately have 11 post-graduate faculties and a faculty of undergraduate studies. SAU attracts students from all member nations and its degrees are recognised by all the eight SAARC countries.
