Profile

Chudamani Basnet is an assistant professor (SG) in the Department of Sociology at South Asian University. He has taught social stratification, Qualitative Research, Social Statistics and Civil Society. He has published in the fields of caste, ethnicity, labour market, social movements and civil society. His works have appeared in Studies in Nepali History and Society, South Asia Research, and SAMAJ. He is currently a member of the editorial committees of Samaj Adhyayan (in Nepali) and South Asia Research.
