South Asian University (SAU) is an international university established by 8 member nations of South Asian Association for Regional Co-operation (SAARC) viz. Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Maldives, Nepal, Pakistan and Sri Lanka. SAU started its operations from the academic year 2010. All programs are recognized by UGC as well as international universities of the world.

Our university primarily offers postgraduate (PG) and Ph.D. programs in various fields, including Economics, Legal Studies, Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Mathematics and Computer Science (CS), Social Sciences (such as International Relations and Sociology), and Art & Design.
Recently university has started B.Tech program, University is planning massive expansion in online education mainly in the field of emerging technology and all other discipline where university has enough resources in term of faculties, teaching, learning resources.
Online courses will include undergraduate (UG), postgraduate (PG), certificate, and diploma programs designed to enhance practical knowledge and provide industry exposure across various disciplines. These courses will enable us to reach students in every corner of SAARC countries, especially those facing challenges in accessing on-campus education. Moreover, online education will be more affordable and fully aligned with practical, industry-oriented learning, producing graduates who are
industry-ready. Certificate courses will be entirely shift-oriented, equipping students with the planning and skills necessary to meet industry demands effectively.
Two hours daily on weekdays from 6 PM to 8 PM, and 10 hours on weekends from 9 AM to 2 PM.

The training is optional, but all the lectures will be practical-oriented, which will prepare the students for industry-ready.

Classes will consist of both recorded lectures and live interactive sessions. Recordings of the live lectures will also be available for later use. Each student’s engagement time with the recorded lectures will be monitored.
