Information to the New Students of the South Asian University, who would be residing in the University Hostel

After arrival at the Indira Gandhi International Airport, New Delhi, please take the following steps:

  • After all formalities are completed, exit from Gate No 5 or 6
  • Visit the PrePaid Taxi Counter
  • Arrange for a Taxi (to be paid by the student)
  • Address to be given to Taxi: South Asian University, Akbar Bhawan (Near Yaswant Place), Chanakyapuri, New Delhi-110021
  • Once in the Akbar Bhawan, go to the Reception and contact Sunil Kumar- Ext 145 (for Boys) and Meena – Ext 124 (for Girls)
  • In case of arrival after 6 pm, contact the Security Personnel at the entrance of the building and show the Offer letter received from the University and other documents of admission. The Security Personnel will assist you with the temporary accommodation (if only one day ahead of the Registration date).
  • Report for Registration process the next day (check for the Venue for Registration on the Notice Boards at the Ground Floor and Hostel Floors( 5 th 6th and 7th).
