Candidates seeking admission to the Master’s programmes have to take an online computer based Entrance test. The syllabus and pattern for the test for all the programmes can be accessed from the university website.
For PhD, candidates are admitted through two modes: (i) Those having any national fellowship or funded by any government agency or are in employment will be exempted from the entrance test. They will be shortlisted directly for the interviews based on their qualification and, in some cases, on Research Proposal / SOP / Reference letters. (ii) Through an entrance test followed by interview. The interview for candidates from outside India can be held through Skype or similar platform.
The above induction of students (Masters as well as PhD) is for the nationals of SAARC countries. For non-SAARC nationals, there is no entrance test. They will be shortlisted directly based on their educational qualifications and CV.
