22.04.2024:

The Entrance Test results for Masters’ Programmes and short-listed candidates for PhD Programmes (both through entrance mode as well as direct mode) are expected to be declared on 29.04.2024.

22.04.2024:

For any concern regarding the Question Papers in the Entrance Tests held on 20th & 21st April 2024, one can write to us at admission@sau.int mentioning his/her Name, Roll Number and Programme applied for by 5 PM (IST), 24th April 2024.

16.04.2024:

Candidates can download their Admit Cards by using their login credentials provided at the time of registration.

15.04.2024:

Offer letters have been sent through email on 14 April 2024 to the candidates from Afghanistan, Pakistan and Bangladesh whose admissions were deferred in 2023 and who have given their confirmation for joining the SAU this year.

14.04.2024:

05.04.2024:

The last date for applying has been extended till 10th April 2024. However, there will be no further extension.

SAU Scholarship/Freeship/Financial Support Policy Document (2024-25) is available now.

31.03.2024:

The last date for applying has been extended till 5th April 2024.

29.03.2024:

The Department of Computer Science has received 3 Full Time PhD seats under the "Visvesvaraya PhD Scheme for Electronics and IT” of Govt. of India for the Academic Year 2024-25. The Indian candidates admitted through the Entrance test of SAU will have an opportunity to compete for these 3 seats.

15.03.2024:

The entrance tests for MSc (Biotechnology), PhD (Biotechnology) and M.Tech. (Computer Science) has been rescheduled for 21.04.2024 in the Morning session.


The entrance test for MA (Economics) has been rescheduled for 20.04.2024 in the morning. Session.

15.03.2024:

For the programmes B.Tech. and Dual Degree (B.Tech+M.Tech) in Computer Science and Engineering, the minimum eligibility may be read as follows:
A student must have passed the class 12 or higher secondary or any equivalent qualifying examination in Science stream (having mathematics and Physics/Chemistry as mandatory subjects) with a minimum of 65% marks in aggregate.

Those who wish to be considered on the basis of their GATE/JEE score, must apply following the appropriate link on the admissions page.

Those who wish to be considered on the basis of their GATE/JEE score as well as through the entrance test, must apply separately.
