Today stands as a historic milestone as we commemorate the signing of the SAARC Charter. December 8 signifies not just the inception of an era but the dawn of a new, progressive form of cooperation that binds our nations in unity. It remains an enduringly special day for the South Asian Region.

The South Asian University, unwavering in its commitment, continues to exemplify the immense possibilities achievable through cooperation. Witnessing bright young minds from across our region come together within our classrooms, sharing ideas and learning from each other, fills our hearts with pride. Their academic pursuits pave the way for them to become ambassadors of goodwill upon graduating from SAU.
