Communication for Sustainable Development (CSD)

The imperative of thorough understanding and practice of communication that aids in sustainable development models is at the core of this unique postgraduate program. The course envisages training the fresh graduates and professionals to unearth the importance of communication in dealing with the complex challenges faced across the world and specifically in South Asia. Some of the challenges are social inequality in health and education, natural disasters and climate change, manifold disparities at social and digital levels, displacement and underdevelopment, misinformation and governance crises. Communication plays a pivotal role in shaping responses and policies that are conducive for sustainability of development. A sustainable world solicits an ethically grounded, egalitarian, and futuristic policies based on the nuanced models of communication and development.
