Dissertation
Semester III and IV are dedicated to Dissertation Writing along with course work. Each student is assigned a supervisor by the end of Semester I. All students complete 15000 word dissertation by the end of Semester IV.

Introduction to South Asia
Students must complete this 2 credit course as part of their course curriculum
Open elective
Students have to undertake two open elective courses of 2 credits each. This allows students to engage in a range of open elective courses and experiential learning beyond Sociology.
