About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and critically engaged candidate for the post of Research Assistant to join our research team. The selected candidate will be expected to assist and support the design and execution of the research project. This involves field visits, conducting interviews, analysing and interpreting data, and the development of research reports and other academic outputs.

Note:

• Consideration will be given to candidates with a strong academic record and who exhibit the capacity to undertake collaborative research.
• Only fully completed formal applications will be considered.
• Only shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview.
• Selected candidates are expected to make the university their main place of work during the tenure of the project and they are expected to work in collaboration with the members of the dedicated research team. Unsatisfactory performance would lead to the termination of employment.
• The positions of the Research Assistant may involve travel to the regions of Ladakh. Applicants applying to these posts are requested to keep that in mind when applying.
• Ladakh is a high altitude region which requires acclimatization when travelling. We request those applying to be mindful of any health conditions, given that the project necessitates travel.
