
Dr.
Khanindra Ch. Das is Assistant Professor of Economics, Faculty of Management,
South Asian University, New Delhi, India. His teaching philosophy is to impart
up-to-date knowledge drawn from relevant discipline that can be applied in
business and society. His teaching areas include
Microeconomics, Behavioural Economics, Global Business Environment,
International Economics/Finance/Business, Geopolitics & Risk Analysis,
Insurance Economics, Data Analytics (using R/Python), Econometric Methods. He
has 10+ years of teaching/academic experience. Before joining SAU, he worked at
Birla Institute of Management Technology (One of the Premier Business Schools
in India) from July 2019 to October 2025. He conducted several faculty
development programmes in econometrics and data analytics, delivered invited
sessions in international business schools, and guided post-graduate and
doctoral scholars.
His
research aims at generating new insights, through integration of disciplines
and ideas, which can shape policy and practice in various spheres for improving
economic and societal outcomes. His research
areas are International Trade & Finance, International Business,
International Subsidiary Survival and Firm Performance, Resources/Energy
Economics, Emerging Economies, Start-ups & International New Ventures,
International Connectivity, SAARC, and Economy of China & India. He
has 25+ research papers to his credit published in international peer-reviewed
and indexed journals such as Energy Economics, Resources Policy, Journal of
Asian Economics, International Journal of Manpower, International Journal of
Emerging Markets, Journal of Economic Studies, Australian Economic Review,
Singapore Economic Review, Foreign Trade Review, Journal of Global Information

Asian Survey, Global Business Review, Margin: The Journal of Applied Economic
Research, UN ESCAP. He has presented 25+ research papers in international
conferences and workshops such as AIB Oceania, UN ESCAP, ARTNeT, UNU WIDER, GLOBELICS,
BIARI; and contributed to working paper series and policy reports. His popular
writings appeared in ET Government, Business Line, Financial Express, The Times
of India, among others. He has edited research journal and served as reviewer for
