
Dr. Nishi Sharma is a Professor of Finance at the
Faculty of Management, South Asian University, New Delhi, with over 22 years of
rich academic experience. She served for 17 years at the University Institute
of Applied Management Sciences (UIAMS), Panjab University, Chandigarh, and
previously held academic positions at the Indian Institute of Public
Administration, IGNOU, and Meerut College. Dr. Sharma has authored over 45
research papers published in reputed journals, most of which are indexed in
Scopus, ABDC, and UGC, and has presented nearly 40 papers at various national
and international conferences. She has co-authored one book and co-edited two.
She has successfully guided/co-guided four Ph.D. scholars and is currently
supervising three more, in addition to mentoring over 90 Master's research
projects. Her research contributions include two major funded projects
supported by NBCFDC (Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment) and ICSSR,
Delhi. Dr. Sharma has co-coordinated six academic programmes, including four
government-sponsored training programmes and two self-financed FDP/STC
initiatives. At UIAMS, she held key leadership roles such as Director, UIAMS;
Chief Coordinator, MET; and Coordinator for the Ph.D. programme. She has
delivered over 40 invited lectures and further enhanced her research acumen by
participating in programmes at IIM Indore and IIT Delhi.
