Profile

Prof. Sunil Kumar has joined South Asian University, New Delhi, as Dean, Faculty of Management. He brings with him over 23 years of rich experience in Teaching, Training, Research, and Academic Administration.

Prof. Kumar holds multiple Academic Qualifications, including PGDDE., Ph.D., FCA., M.Phil., JRF-NET., M.Com., MBA., and has been a distinction holder throughout his Academic career.

Prior to this assignment, he was associated with the School of Management Studies, Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU), New Delhi, as Professor. He also served as Director, School of Foreign Languages, and Director, National Centre of ODL and Local Governance, IGNOU, New Delhi.

Prof. Kumar has made significant contributions to Academia and Research:

Published 100+ Research papers in reputed National and International Journals.

Guided more than 10 Ph.D. Scholars to successful completion.

Presented over 100 Research papers at National and International Conferences.

Authored 4 Books in the areas of Taxation, Commerce, and Management which are published by renowned Publishers.

Chaired 100+ Technical sessions in Academic Conferences worldwide.

Written 65+ Academic Units/Chapters for Universities across India.

Delivered 90+ Keynote Addresses at Higher Educational Institutions.

Delivered 200+ Expert lectures on Gyan Darshan and Gyan Vani (National Channels) for UGC, CEC, NCERT, and CBSE.

Developed 100+ Video lectures on SWAYAM platform (UG/PG courses), widely appreciated Globally.

Prof Kumar has been actively associated with several Professional and Academic bodies:

Life Member, All India Commerce Congress (D-079) and All India Accounting Congress (D-339).

Prof. Kumar has been an Academic collaborator with IIM Kozhikode for initiatives to strengthen Indian Higher Education.

Prof. Kumar has been associated with Haryana Institute of Public Administration (HIPA) for the training of Civil Servants (IAS, IPS, IRS, etc.).

Prof. Kumar has contributed to confidential Academic assignments of UGC, AICTE, NTA, UPSC, and State Public Service Commissions.

In recognition of his Academic excellence and contribution to Higher Education, he has received several prestigious Honors from Organizations of International repute.
