Dr. Niketan Jakhar is an Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Physical Sciences, South Asian University, an international university established by the SAARC nations, New Delhi, India. She obtained her Ph.D. in the area of Multiparticle Beam Dynamics and Plasma Physics from Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi. Her academic and research interests include particle accelerator physics, beam dynamics, plasma based acceleration, and plasma instabilities. She has worked on the design, simulation, and optimization of accelerator components, including electrostatic accelerating systems, low energy beam transport systems, and Wien filters. She has research collaboration with CERN, Switzerland, and has also gained experimental experience through accelerator based studies at the Inter University Accelerator Centre (IUAC), New Delhi. She has published research articles in international peer reviewed journals and has actively contributed to the scientific community through participation in national and international conferences. Her conference participation includes international events in Taiwan and France, along with several conferences and scientific events in India. Her academic work combines theoretical, computational, and experimental approaches to advance the understanding of accelerator and plasma based phenomena.
