“An International Conference on
“Frontiers in Advanced Materials, Nanotechnology, Computing, Artificial Intelligence-Based Devices for Environment and Sustainable Development (FAMN-CAID-2026)”
was organized from March 13–15, 2026, by the National Seminar Committee and the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of Motilal Nehru College, under the aegis of the University of Delhi.
The event brought together participants from diverse academic backgrounds, who presented their research through both papers and posters across a wide range of topics.
The conference featured insightful presentations covering various domains such as the future of sustainable technologies, synthesis and fabrication of smart materials, computational methods in physics, nanophotonics, biosensors, and AI and ML technologies. Participants shared their findings, engaged in meaningful discussions, and contributed to a vibrant academic environment.
Dr. Jyotsna Sharma, Associate Dean, Faculty of Physical Sciences, along with around 12 students from the Integrated BS-MS course, actively participated in the conference. Dr. Sharma was invited as a distinguished speaker, where she delivered an engaging talk. She also served as a judge for the poster presentations, offering valuable feedback to the participants.
The students from the Integrated BS-MS program presented posters in different areas of physics and chemistry, showcasing their research work and academic enthusiasm.
Overall, the conference proved to be a highly enriching and memorable experience for everyone involved.”
