The process of physical registration is going on successfully. It is reiterated that the classes for the first year students will be held only through offline mode.

The fourth admissions list will be announced on Monday, 17.07.2023.

The second admissions list will be announced on Monday, 19.06.2023.

31.05.2023:

The candidates of the PhD Programme in Sociology can now download their Admit Cards by visiting https://admissions.sau.int/ and using their login details. The retest will be held on Sunday 04.06.2023 from 3:30 PM to 5:30 PM (IST).

26.05.2023:

The first list of Masters and PhD candidates will be announced on 02.06.2023. In order to secure the admission, Master candidates will be required to pay Ist Semester Tuition Fee + Security deposit + Admission Fee and PhD candidates will be required to pay Security deposit + Admission Fee by 14.06.2023. The Tuition Fee will be refunded to those candidates who will be the recipient of any Scholarship/Fellowship/Freeship as per SAU norms. The admission will be confirmed once the candidates report to the university physically and produce their documents in original.

22.05.2023:

Due to certain reasons, the admission test for PhD Sociology will be reconducted. The new date and time are Sunday 4th June 2023 during 3:00-5:00 PM (IST). All the candidates already registered are being notified through email for further instructions. The candidates who have been shortlisted for interview through Direct Mode need not do anything. Those candidates will be interviewed along with the shortlisted ones after the retest on 4th June 2023.

17.05.2023:

The interviews for PhD Mathematics will be conducted in two days, 24th & 25th May 2023. The precise date and time for each candidate will be communicated to the candidates soon.

15.05.2023:

The interviews for the PhD Programme in Sociology (Direct Mode) have been postponed till further notice.

04.05.2023:

After the declaration of the results on 12.05.2023, the shortlisted PhD candidates will get approximately 10 days to upload their documents of educational qualifications and Photo Id. In addition, for some subject areas, Research Proposal, Statement of Purpose and Letters of Recommendation are also to be uploaded. Visit https://sau.int/admissions/phd-programmes/ for more details on these documents. In order to avoid last minute rush, one can start arranging these documents.

30.04.2023:

The Entrance Test results for Masters’ Programmes and short-listed candidates for PhD Programmes (both through entrance mode as well as direct mode) are expected to be declared on 12.05.2023.
