Applications are invited from Indian nationals interested in the post of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) to work on the research project entitled “Digital Twins for Design of Electromagnetic Materials and Devices Using Optimal Control and Finite Element Methods” sanctioned by the Anusandhan National Research Foundation (ANRF) under the PMECRG Scheme under the supervision of the undersigned.

Rs. 37,000/month + HRA for first two years and Rs. 42,000/month + HRA for the third year |
Project Description
The project aims to develop and analyze structure-preserving finite element discretizations and optimization methods for time-dependent Maxwell’s equations within the framework of PDE-constrained optimization.
Minimum Qualification and Eligibility
Candidates should satisfy the following:
- M.Sc/MS/M.Tech. in Mathematics with a minimum of 60% marks (or equivalent CGPA) along with a valid NET/GATE qualification (where applicable).
PhD Opportunity
The selected candidate may be considered for admission to the PhD programme at South Asian University subject to the SAU rules.

Selection Process
Shortlisted candidates will be invited for an online/offline interview. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview. The date of interview will be notified to the shortlisted candidates directly.
