M.Sc. (Applied Mathematics)- 1 Year
Starting in 2025, South Asian University (SAU) offers a one-year M.Sc. in Applied Mathematics specifically for students who have completed a four-year undergraduate degree. This accelerated program is designed to equip students with advanced mathematical tools for both industrial applications and academic research.
Eligibility Criteria
- Educational Background: You must have a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Statistics, or related fields under a 10+2+4 pattern.
- Minimum Marks: A minimum of 55% marks (or equivalent grade) in your qualifying degree.
- Mathematics Requirement: You must have studied at least 40 credits of mathematics during your undergraduate program.
- Expected Prerequisites: It is expected that you have already studied Complex Analysis, Linear Algebra, Numerical Analysis, Functional Analysis, and Ordinary Differential Equations; otherwise, additional courses may be required.
