The Faculty of Life Sciences and Biotechnology is offering from the current academic year 2025-26, a one-year (2 semesters) academic programme in M.S. (Biotechnology) for students coming from the 10 + 2 + 4 year background as per the NEP model. Based on the subjects studied at the Bachelor’s level, the student can opt to study either some core courses or specialized courses in the first semester. There will be a laboratory techniques course to provide hands-on training to students. In the second semester the students can work on research projects in the area of Cancer Biology, Chemical Biology, Industrial Biotechnology, Molecular Medicine, NeuroInflammation, Plant Biotechnology, Protein Engineering, and Virology.
